We celebrated Black History month and talked about strong African American leaders in our country such as Rosa Parks, President Barack Obama, and Ruby Bridges!
We did a science experiment for dental health month and took a poll to see who thought the hard boiled egg would change color in the Cola. 13 friends said it would change color and 2 friends didn't think it would. Our results showed that the egg did change color and we learned that having sugary pop is not good for our teeth and causes cavaties!
Our local dentist, Dr. Algenio, visited us for dental health month! We learned to eat less sugary foods, and more fruits and vegetables to keep our teeth shiny and healthy!

We read the story of "The Mitten", made our own mittens, and put all of the characters from the story inside in sequential order!
We brought the snow indoors!!! Students got to play in the snow with various measuring tools and kitchen utensils!
Our first Show and Tell of the year!! Students got to bring in various toys, stuffed animals, trophies, and food!! After the preschoolers sat and listened to their friend's show and tell, they then got a chance to ask questions or comment on it. This taught them to be a good listening audience, be respectful when someone is speaking, and learn to present in front of peers!
